The first true merman. There may have been close calls as to what was the prototype merman, but I say Nemo was the first of the long list of mermen that were to follow. I had a wierd history with Nemo, having bought him when he was released, having lost him in the shuffle over the years, and passed up on numerous chances to get him back in the collection. This time I got him back, and he stays where he belongs! He is the first merman and he leads the way! His mermaid counterpart is Coral.
