Star was a suprise to me. I thought they went patriotic with the later merman Stripe and Stars mermaid years after this one. I was wrong about this. I actually like this mermaid better than the mermaid they made later on. I think her top hat adds a nice touch. She is an early mermaid as her number comes right after Minnow's number which comes almost right after Nemo's number. 2003 was interesting in that the mermaids were plentiful and it seemed the mermen were just being tested that year.
