Atlantis was a much nicer merman to look at than his predessor, Poseidon. They were identical except for their skin tone. Atlantis had the tan, and Poseidon was pale. This one seemed more like a Pirate as Pirates are out in the sun and getting tans whereas I can't think of any Pirates sitting in their cabins and never venturing out into the high seas.
