I think of Wave as Baby Jonathan. He looks just like him in the face. I wonder if they thought of Wave first before making him a full fledged merman. The ornament is heavy, so I have to make sure he sits on a very heavy branch on the tree if I hang him on one. I have him on display with Mardi Gras mermen Jonathan, Robbie, Cajun, and Jambalaya. I have been told by a source that Jonathan, Robbie, and Wave mermen were not Mardi Gras themed, but in fact were supposed to be Las Vegas show guys hence the feather boas. I inquired at December Diamonds about Jonathan and was told he was Mardi Gras themed. Either way, you make the decision. All three are great merman and now very rare.
